Extension Springs | Produced In Spring Steel (Music Wire)
Range D. This series is available in three different lengths: 300.00 mm, 500.00 mm and 1,000.00 mm. These springs are mainly used for testing – you can cut the springs to the desired length and then create loops.
Please note that these springs do not have loops.

We can deliver within 24 hours, if you order before 15:45 from Monday till Thursday and before 14:30 on Fridays, if the item is in stock. Orders placed Saturday and Sunday are being shipped the following Monday.

Produced in spring steel for use in dry environment. The spring steel is not rust-resistant. If needed for use in humid/wet environment, choose from our collection of models in stainless steel here.
These springs comes with no loops.
There are no spring constants for this range of springs. These springs are designed to test and try where the springs can be shortened to achieve the desired length. The spring constant depends on the length, so we are unable to provide a general spring constant.
Normally right-handed
Standard springs are not defined with a specific direction of wind. Depending on production, the springs may be produced either right or left wound. If you require a specific direction of wind a special spring must be produced.
The springs are intended for tests and experiments. You can cut them to the required length.
If an extension spring with an exact value for one of the following parameters is required, springs must be custom-made:
- Loop type
- Loop height (LH)
- Loop position (X)
- Loop width (if the spring is to be incorporated into a tube)
- Opening at loop (m)
- Initial force (F0)
